Hello Sabine and Udo
Here a little update on how our sweet Indy is doing. She has now been with us for almost two weeks, and she has grown and developed a lot. She has been out and about to meet the world. We have visited friends and their dogs and family and friends have visited us. She loves meeting new people and making her own doggie friends. Her best friend is Gigo. He is so gentle with her. The second time they met Indy climbed on top of Gigo and made "the mating movement" !! Gigo did not mind, but we were a bit shocked that she dared to do it . Next time we are going to stop that behavior! Ha ha !! She has been out to two different restaurents. No problem at all, she just lies down under the table and falls a sleep. We went to a small town to train her skills with many people, cars, and shoppingwindows. Today it rained so she also found out what umbrellas are. She has met busses, boats, has sat with a handicapped boy in wheelchair and many other things. She loves her new cage, we are getting her used to go in to her "house", so she can do it when we take her to shows. When Indy gets to hot she runs to the big pool, puts her paws on the sides and asks to have a swim . She is a brave little girl. On sunday we are going to meet some of the danish Hovawarts. They are having a camp, so we will visit, and get to know both the people and the dogs in the danish Hovawart club. She is totally house broken. That is so nice. No problems. We had som people visit us who have breeded Hovawarts for many years. They had only good things to say about Indy. The one lady has been a breeder for almost 20 years and has made 14 danish champions and she thinks Indy for sure is going to be a champion some day. Her temper and her exterior is perfect. .
So we are very happy and pleased with our new baby. Hope you are doing ok. Have and nice summer.
The picture where Indy is a sleep on the ground is under my chair at a busy restaurent in town! Talk about a well socialised dog
